The Prenursing certificate prepares students for application to two types of nursing programs: accelerated registered nurse programs for college graduates who are not nurses, and master of science in nursing programs for licensed registered nurses. The certificate is the first step for career changers toward successful careers as nurse, nurse practitioner, midwife, case manager, nursing informatics professional, administrator or nursing or administrative health research professional.
