Kathleen Seebert

Kathleen Seebert has been associated with the Society for Human Resource Management since joining the Chicago chapter in 2007. A member of the Chicago SHRM board of directors since 2012, she has held various positions, most recently serving as Chicago SHRM president in 2015. She is currently responsible for oversight of four northern Illinois chapters as a district director for SHRM’s Illinois State Council. With a background in strategy and management in the human resources consulting industry, Seebert has held positions with Cigna, Buck Consultants, Mercer, Aon Hewitt, Willis Towers Watson, and KPMG. She holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a master of communication arts from the University of Notre Dame.

Paul Young

Paul Young is the human resources manager for the American Association of Endodontists. In a 30-year career as a human resources professional, he has worked as a generalist, recruiter, and HR leader in several industries, including food service, banking, mining, and education. Young enjoys the breadth of responsibilities that an HR career provides and the lifelong learning required to be successful. A member of the Society for Human Resource Management’s Chicago board of directors, he chairs its certification committee and also serves on the human resources committee for the Chicago Scholars board of directors. An active volunteer at national, regional, and state HR events, he is an SHRM senior certified professional and is certified as a senior professional in human resources by the HR Certification Institute. Young earned his bachelor’s degree at Western Illinois University, majoring in human resources.
