- Supervision of Police Personnel • On-site or OnlineSupervision of Police Personnel prepares participants to make a successful transition from officer to supervisor. It is offered both on-site and online. Students learn motivational principals, communication, ethics, professionalism, planning, decision-making, leadership, community image and much more from nationally renowned police administrators who combine extensive personnel and management experience with solid academic credentials. All new supervisors or soon-to-be-promoted officers, officers who seek promotion, or experienced supervisors who have not had formal supervisory instruction or development are encouraged to attend.
- School of Police Staff and Command • On-site or OnlineThe School of Police Staff and Command (SPSC) prepares law enforcement managers for senior positions by combining academic principles with practical applications. Since the program launched in 1983, it has received enthusiastic response from public safety executives throughout the country. In 2012, the SPSC curriculum was redesigned and updated to better incorporate adult- and problem-based learning models. In order to provide more flexibility for departments, the program is offered on-ground through the U.S. and around the world and is now available online.
- Executive Management ProgramThe three-week Executive Management Program provides intensive instruction for the policy making executive and combines management principles with the study of emerging law enforcement issues. Participating executives prepare themselves and their organizations to respond proactively to dynamic public safety environments.
