Offered in partnership with Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, a leader in the connected medical community, the online MS in Health Informatics (MHI) program prepares students for emerging opportunities and roles across the health care enterprise. Students prepare to leverage technology tools and data for more efficient, patient-centered health care services delivery and improved population health, while developing essential skills such as organizational change leadership and project management.
- Information Systems Online and On Campus
To promote advancement in computer science careers, the MSIS program is designed to build skills that translate into success at the workplace. It is suited for people now working in the field, as well as for those interested in changing professions. It is a flexible program that recognizes the need to accommodate busy schedules.
- Predictive Analytics Online
With new data collection technologies come vast new sources of data that can be analyzed to enhance organizational effectiveness, customer service, returns on investment and myriad other business strategies. Northwestern's Master of Science in Predictive Analytics (MSPA) brings together the fields of data management, statistical analysis, communication and leadership to train students to become effective analysts and educated consumers of analytics.
- Regulatory Compliance
An interdisciplinary professional program, the MSRC program addresses core areas of regulatory compliance, including risk management, quality systems, leadership and communication skills. Graduates are prepared to assume leadership positions in healthcare compliance, clinical research compliance or quality systems in the life sciences. This breadth of course offerings sets our program apart, as does our partnership with the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

- Biological Sciences
The science of biology is the study of living organisms at all levels of complexity and in all their diversity. The goal of the biological sciences program at Northwestern is to develop and enhance the intellectual and creative potential of life sciences students.
Mathematics plays a central role in modern society. It has long been an important tool in science and engineering, and is used increasingly in varied and sophisticated ways in the social sciences, the humanities and business. This major offers a variety of courses that address these diverse applications of mathematics.
Psychology is the scientific study of behavior – how people perceive the world, think and act. In addition to the obvious benefits of an understanding of human behavior, the major in psychology emphasizes the development of critical thinking skills and practical experience developing research ideas, analyzing data and communicating results.

- Advanced Studies in Psychology
Students who have completed some introductory psychology courses can take four to eight upper-level psychology courses of their choosing to help prepare for graduate programs in psychology, social work, counseling, and other related programs.

Take humanities and social science courses in various health-related topics to meet social science/humanities requirements for graduate programs in the health professions, or to prepare for graduate study in public health, health sciences, or healthcare administration.
- Preclinical Psychology
A program designed for career changers and students lacking a psychology background, the Psychology certificate consists of nine psychology courses required for application to most graduate programs awarding either the doctor of psychology in clinical psychology (PsyD) or the doctor of philosophy in clinical psychology (PhD).
A program designed for career changers and students lacking a science background, the Premedicine certificate allows students to take the laboratory science courses in biology, chemistry and physics required for application to medical and related professional schools.
- Premedicine Completion
The Premedicine Completion Program is intended for students who have completed some, but not all of the core science prerequisites needed to apply to medical school.
A program designed for career changers and students lacking a science background, the Prenursing certificate allows students to take the laboratory science courses in biology, chemistry physics, psychology and statistics required for application to nursing and related professional schools.
- Prephysical Therapy
A program designed for career changers and students lacking a science background, the Prephysical Therapy certificate allows students to take the laboratory science courses in biology, chemistry, physics and statistics required for application to physical therapy graduate programs (MPT or DPT).
- Prephysician Assistant
A program designed for career changers and students lacking a science background, the Prephysician Assistant certificate allows students to take the laboratory science courses in biology, chemistry, statistics and language required for application to most physician assistant graduate programs in the Chicago area.
- Prespeech Pathology
An online program of courses that aids students in meeting the entrance requirements for the Master of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning at Northwestern University, as well as for other speech pathology master’s programs with similar requirements.
The Programming post-baccalaureate certificate helps students develop skills in programming as well as systems analysis, database design and administration, and information technology project management. Working with Java, students learn how to program, but they also learn how to meet the business requirements of enterprise design, software implementation, data needs and databases, and how information systems serve the larger goals of a business or organization.

The Web Development post-baccalaureate certificate program enables students to develop the technical competencies that are required to plan, develop and implement websites that are both visually appealing and useful.
