Admission to the Business Leadership program requires prospective students to complete an online application. You will be prompted to create a user account to begin an application with Northwestern University School of Professional Studies. Additional requirements and information are outlined below.
In addition to meeting the general admission requirements, the school recommends that Business Leadership program applicants have completed:
- One to two years of college coursework (30-60 semester hours or 45-90 quarter hours)
- 5-7 years of professional experience
- One English composition course
The following materials are required to apply to the program:
- A completed online application
- $50 application fee
- High school transcripts
- College/university transcripts
- A current resume or CV
- A statement of purpose

Cohort Program Details
Transfer Credit Policy for the Major
Students who have taken comparable courses at previous institutions before enrolling in the Business Leadership program may transfer up to four courses toward fulfilling major requirements. Additional transfer credit, up to one-half of the coursework required for the degree, may be applied to distribution and elective degree requirements.
