Leading Change in Healthcare: Process Improvement
Accepting change and making improvements is an expectation with any job, but leading measurable, meaningful change can take your improvements to the next level. In collaboration with the School of Professional Studies, experts from Northwestern Medicine are bringing their 20+ year improvement knowledge to an in-person workshop that focuses on the knowledge and applications of proven methodologies and techniques for leading change in achieve measurable project success in rapidly changing environments.
During this two-day workshop, the team will walk you through their improvement model that includes the 5-step improvement methodology (DMAIC), change management, and project leadership approaches. Using hands-on activities and case studies, you will gain the process improvement skills that can be directly applied to your work and result in measurable, data-driven, root-cause solutions to impact your organization.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Apply the DMAIC process improvement methodology throughout the workshop with the aid of expert coaches
- Design root-cause focused solutions that plan for sustainability
- Associate different change management methods and utilize key change management concepts and plans for project work
- Navigate complexities in project work through project leadership techniques
