Steve Thaxton

As Executive Director, Steve manages the overall National Resource Center, collaborating with The Bernard Osher Foundation, interfacing with Northwestern University School of Professional Studies colleagues and working closely with the Osher NRC staff. His role includes consulting and connecting with OLLI units all across the country to help them continually improve their unique local programs.

As Associate Director, Kari collaborates with OLLIs across the network to provide insights, tools, and resources to help OLLIs thrive. Using her prior experience as a coach, facilitator, engagement expert, and director of a local OLLI program, Kari provides consultation on managing an OLLI, especially in the areas of volunteer engagement, administration, fundraising, staff management, strategic planning, and marketing. She also oversees the Osher Online program.

As Manager of Operations, Stacey helps guide strategy and priority projects while handling the day-to-day operations and information management of the National Resource Center. Her role includes management of the NRC website, communications, research and data analysis, annual reporting, and logistics for the Osher Institutes National Conference.

Kevin Connaughton

As Manager of Adult Learning, Kevin works on instructional design activities for OLLI staff and volunteers. His role includes managing digital learning development, research in the area of older adult lifelong learning, and content resources for webinars and the Osher Institutes National Conferences.

As the Program Manager for Osher Online, Kevin ensures a robust, varied, and high-quality curriculum taught by experts in their field. He manages instructors, classroom moderators, and the member experience. He also focuses on the program’s continued evolution, growth, and quality.

Danielle Faulkner

Business Coordinator, Osher Online

As the Business Coordinator, Danielle manages the logistics associated with a successful Osher Online experience including the member website, marketing materials, and member orientation. She works closely with the local OLLI programs on Osher Online logistics including contracts, vendor status, registration, and finances.
