Which Northwestern SPS Graduate Programs are Offered Online?

Living outside of Chicago doesn’t mean you can’t earn your master’s degree from Northwestern. The Northwestern School of Professional Studies offers a wide range of on-campus and online master’s degree programs spanning information technology and analytics, healthcare and public policy, and the humanities. The course structure of each program is designed to complement the subject matter, so while most degrees are available online, humanities programs are generally only offered on Northwestern’s Chicago and Evanston campuses.
Whether you earn your degree on campus or online, your status as a student grants you access to Northwestern amenities, such as shuttle service, libraries, student discounts, and campus events.
All master’s degree programs are designed to fit into a full-time work schedule. Several of the online master’s degree programs utilize a hybrid structure, so that the majority of the coursework is online, but specific curriculum requirements may require in-person meetings or practicum work outside the virtual classroom.
Additionally, online master’s degree programs are asynchronous, so you learn on your schedule. Here is a complete list of master’s degree programs by format.
