Three Northwestern University School of Professional Studies (SPS) students were recently awarded academic scholarships from University Circle, an organization that promotes fellowship between women at Northwestern. Each year, as part of its mission, the organization grants awards to degree-seeking SPS students currently employed at Northwestern University.
This year, the organization awarded scholarships to Jessica Agosto, an undergraduate student pursing a bachelor’s in psychology and a research administrator in the department of radiology at Feinberg School of Medicine; Elizabeth Quinn, a financial assistant in the department of communication sciences and disorders also pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology; and Caitlin Tucker, a newsroom coordinator at University Relations, working towards a master’s in public policy and administration at SPS.
Awards were presented at a dinner given by University President Morton Schapiro and Mimi Schapiro, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of University Circle. The dinner also featured a number of 50-year members of the organization, as well as 15 past presidents of University Circle.
