CHICAGO - On June 13, 2019, Northwestern University School of Professional Studies (SPS) hosted a lunchtime table talk on regulatory drama in the U.S. healthcare industry. Kimberly Rusk, the President of Optimyze Research, LLC, discussed the processes that are used when implementation dates are ambiguous and answers to fundamental operational questions are vague or non-existent. The table talk focused on the recent path taken to update The Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects or the "Common Rule."
