Schedule Your Exam
Your Examity dashboard will display all of your exams that require a proctor. Each exam has an "exam card" that lists its "window" (the dates during which the exam can be taken), the "exam entry deadline" (the latest time on the last day of the window you can start the exam) and the duration of the exam. Complete these steps to schedule the day and time when you will take the exam.
- Locate the exam card on the dashboard.
- Click Schedule Exam. A calendar and list of time slots will be displayed.
- Select your preferred date and time. If you are scheduling less than 24 hours in advance, you will need to select On-Demand scheduling and pay the associated fee.
- Click Next to confirm your selection.

Tips for success
- Use a recent version of Google Chrome to take the exam.
- Click the "Connect to Proctor" button 15 minutes prior to your scheduled exam time. This allows time to connect with your proctor and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Disable your pop-up blocker.
- Exams must be taken on a desktop or laptop computer (not a tablet).
- You must have a working webcam and microphone, and keep them connected throughout the duration of the exam.
- Use a wired internet connection, and disconnect any wireless connections - computers switching connections during the exam is a frequent cause of disconnection from the proctor and exam interruption.
- Run a "lean machine" - only have programs and files you need for the exam open on your computer, including any programs that typically run in the background.
- Use the same computer that you have been using to take your classes throughout the quarter.
