Leadership Certificate

John Cooper is a managing partner at Milestone Partners. In a 30-years business career he has been active in line management, internal and external consulting, effectiveness training, strategic planning, organization design, change management, and executive coaching. Cooper has served dozens of Chicago-area clients, including Fortune 100 companies and nonprofit organizations. Former president of the Organizational Development Network of Chicago, he has served on the Human Resource Association of Chicago’s board of directors and has been certified in various development tools, including Center for Creative Leadership Benchmarks 360 and the Hogan Leadership Assessment Series. Cooper earned an MS in organizational development at Aurora University and trained in advanced coaching through the International Gestalt Coaching Program.

Alyssa Dickman has over 20 years’ experience in Talent and Leadership Development. She brings a focus on the people-side of business to all her work, including individuals looking to grow their leadership, teams wanting to work better together, and organizations focusing on talent strategy. Her past experience includes organizational effectiveness consulting at Slalom Consulting and other roles in recruiting, learning, and change management. She is certified in an array of development tools, including MBTI Type Indicator, Hogan Leadership Assessment Series and DISC communication styles. She holds a BA from Brandeis University, an MS in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach accredited by the International Coach Federation.

Carlann Fergusson is owner of Propel Forward LLC, where she uses her unique mix of expertise in executive leadership, change management and behavioral psychology to equip leaders with the personal awareness and strategic skills to execute at the next level and lead others and themselves through the desired transformation. Previously she was active at the corporate level as a senior director overseeing organizational development, training, leadership development, succession planning, and executive coaching. In a 30-year career of creating and implementing successful change for Fortune 500 companies, government offices, and nonprofits, she has been active in organizational redesigns, start-ups and expansions, downsizings and closures, mergers and acquisitions, system changes, function and team performance turnarounds, and individual performance turnarounds. In recognition of her success, she has received two Intel Quality Awards, Press Ganey’s Innovation Award, the Department of the Treasury’s Treasurer’s Award, and a nomination for Visteon Automotive’s Summit Award.

Fergusson is the author of the highly acclaimed book The Insightful Leader: Find Your Superpowers, Crush Limiting Beliefs and Abolish Self-Sabotaging Behaviors (Praeger, June 2018), and has been a featured guest on ABC News Radio, Wharton Business Radio and has been cited in CBS MoneyWatch, International Business Times, Newsday and Workday. She holds a master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
