PDP courses are offered online, remotely, and on-campus. Please refer to the Schedule Notes for course delivery information.

IMPORTANT: The registration process for all professional development courses requires you to (A) register for your course, (B) complete an acknowledgment of Northwestern University's Student Expectations and COVID-19 Code of Conduct in CAESAR, AND (C) update your emergency contact information . Current students with an active NetID must complete their student acknowledgment in CAESAR before registering for courses. New students must complete their student acknowledgment in CAESAR within 48 hours of enrollment before official registration can be finalized.

PHIL_NP 335-0 : Nonprofit Resilience and Reinvention Through a Crisis


Description

Non-profits are vital problem solvers. Crisis conditions often amplify the demand for non-profit services. In order to rise to the challenge, non-profits need to be resilient. And they need to reinvent themselves as they move through and beyond a crisis.

This course explores how nonprofits can prepare, navigate and advance through and beyond crisis conditions. Students will gain tools as well as opportunities for simulation and role-play. Students will learn how to apply these to non-profit operations, fund raising and communications.

This is a two-day course offered in the Summer and Fall quarters.
