A recent study cited in Forbes magazine found that more than half of project managers neglected to implement appropriate risk management methods. The failure to take risk into consideration not only leads to project issues, but has larger business implications as well (Forbes, December 21, 2023).
PROJ_PMI 315-DL Risk Management provides an overview of the types of risks that threaten projects, the use of various techniques for assessing and managing risk, and approaches to reduce project risk. Particular emphasis is placed on areas of risk identification, analysis, response planning and monitoring and control.
