Which Northwestern SPS Program is Right for me?

Northwestern University School of Professional Studies (SPS) offers thirteen graduate and twelve undergraduate degree programs, as well as a wide range of post-baccalaureate, advanced graduate, and professional development certificate programs, to learners at different stages of their academic and professional careers.
Additionally, SPS trains law enforcement professionals through the Center for Public Safety and offers educational options for learners ages 50 and older through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
To decide which Northwestern SPS program is best fit for you, first review the admission requirements for the program or programs in which you are interested. If you have any questions about admissions requirements or the admissions process, you can reach out directly to advisers by phone at 312-503-2579 or email at studysps@northwestern.edu.
For those not located near Chicago or Evanston, many SPS degree and certificate programs are offered online, including the majority of the school’s master’s degree programs. SPS works with online students around the globe who enjoy the same high standards and rigorous curriculum of students on campus.
Since many SPS programs are career-oriented, you should also consider your short- and long-term professional goals when selecting a program. When researching specific program areas on the SPS website, you can browse career options, as well as insights from students and faculty.
Ultimately, deciding on your program of choice is a matter of your personal and educational goals. Northwestern SPS staff and faculty across departments, including admissions, academic advising, student services, and career services can help you make an informed decision.
