  • Master of Science in Health Analytics

Global Health
The MS in Global Health offered in partnership with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine's Center for Global Health Education is available fully online, providing students with access to Northwestern’s distinguished faculty worldwide. The curriculum is designed for clinicians, researchers, epidemiologists, nonprofit administrators, policy analysts, social entrepreneurs, and others who make a meaningful difference in healthcare access and outcomes in the places where it's needed most.

Through multidisciplinary courses that emphasize both theory and practical application, students learn how to improve healthcare outcomes and systems, work effectively in challenging healthcare settings, navigate global regulatory issues, evaluate results, and more. This degree requires the completion of 12 courses, including a practicum of non-clinical work in a health delivery setting, which may include rotations abroad, working remotely on projects abroad, or working within your own community on "glocal" projects.

Health Informatics
The MS in Health Informatics program is offered in partnership with Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and is fully available online. Health Informatics coursework engages students in the information technology side of healthcare and allows them to specialize in clinical informatics, health administration informatics, or health technology informatics. The MS in Health Informatics degree requires the completion of 12 courses, including a capstone or thesis project, as well as three elective courses corresponding with the chosen area of specialization.

Health informatics professionals work in fields such as healthcare administration, health IT, research, and academic positions across the healthcare industry.

Regulatory Compliance
Students in the MS in Regulatory Compliance program complete their program on campus in partnership with Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Science Institute. The MS in Regulatory Compliance degree requires the completion of 11 courses, including a capstone or thesis project, as well as a course in leadership.

The MS in Regulatory Compliance program provides students with direct access to numerous professional internships with partnering healthcare, research, and pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis, GE Healthcare, and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Health Analytics
The fully-online Master of Science in Health Analytics program combines the domain knowledge of the vast and complex health sector with the interdisciplinary skills of data science to prepare students for important roles at the forefront of efforts to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes.

Drawing on the strengths of partnerships with faculty and staff in Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, the curriculum offers students the opportunity to build their expertise in a hands-on, leading-edge program that is ideal for those either with a clinical background or for those with quantitative and technical experience.
