Northwestern Crash Reconstruction Equation Cards
Set of two laminated cards (8 1/2" x 11" and 3" x 5"), identical in content. The larger one is three-hole punched for notebook use, the smaller one designed to fit in a pocket or most wallets. One side shows general crash reconstruction equations for energy (sliding, kinetic, velocity), momentum, velocity (fall, sideslip, vault/flip), center of mass (longitudinal, vertical), resultant drag factor and velocities for a same-direction collisions (closing, rear vehicle, front vehicle.) The reverse side shows basic motion equations for finding acceleration, initial velocity, end velocity, distance and time.
