MSA 406-DL : Sports Public Relations and Crisis Communication
Description
This course examines the implications and mitigation of crisis
and risk in the sports industry, with emphasis placed on managing
public relations. Students develop the tools necessary to identify
organizational vulnerabilities and to design and implement crisis
strategies and communications to prevent these situations, and
manage the situations effectively, should they occur. The course
pays particular attention to public relations strategies for
communication with internal and external constituencies.
