NUCPS Regional Chapters
NUCPS Regional Chapters are your opportunity to network and learn with fellow professionals in your region! Explore new and innovative avenues for continuing professional growth, take advantage of chapter-based seminars and workshops, network, and socialize with course graduates from different agencies and organizations.

Aug. 14, 2024 - The Chicago Metropolitan Regional Chapter held its initial organizational Zoom meeting on Tuesday, August 13. If you are interested in getting in on the ground floor of the NUCPS home chapter, download your membership form and submit it to nucps-alumni@northwestern.edu. Please indicate your interest committee / volunteer opportunities on your form.
The Illinois Central Regional Chapter is accepting membership forms for those interested in helping establish this chapter. If you live / work in Illinois outside of the Chicago and St. Louis metro areas, this may be the chapter for you! Depending on geographic response, a Northern Illinois chapter may also be added at a later date. Be sure to note Illinois Central on your membership application!
August 15, 2024 - Reservations have closed for the Chapter Launch Party at The Back Porch at Truist Park! Members and guests will be enjoying complimentary food, non-alcoholic beverages, and a cash bar while watching the Atlanta Braves take on the Colorado Rockies. The evening promises to be a great time for networking and enjoying the company of fellow NUCPS community members. The event is made possible in part by presenting sponsor Verkada and the Technical College System of Georgia Foundation.
The Kansas City Chapter has begun organization and is open for membership and for volunteers to help develop their chapter! If you work or reside in the Kansas City metro area, Nebraska, Kansas, or Iowa and would like to help launch this chapter, please submit your membership form to nucps-alumni@northwestern.edu before August 31 and indicate your interest in a chapter founder's role in your email.
The Pennsylvania & Southern New Jersey Chapter has begun organization and is open for membership and for volunteers to help develop their chapter! If you would like to help launch this chapter, please submit your membership form to nucps-alumni@northwestern.edu and indicate your interest in a chapter founder's role in your email. Northern New Jersey also is welcomed -- however a Greater New York Regional chapter will be available soon.
The St. Louis Chapter has begun organization and is open for membership! The founding members are currently working on organizing their first event -- so watch your email for that announcement.
We welcome graduates of any and all NUCPS courses to Regional Chapters! Whether you successfully completed the School of Police Staff & Command, other Management & Leadership programs, a Crash & Reconstruction course, Traffic Engineering, Forensic courses, or the NUCPS Police Motorcycle Instructor Program, then you are eligible to join a chapter. We welcome retirees and those employed in the private sector in addition to sworn officers.

For nearly 90 years, we’ve had the privilege of impacting careers, agencies, and communities through some of the highest quality educational programming available for public safety professionals. Our relevance, effectiveness, continuity, and growth can be greatly attributed to your enthusiastic response, word-of-mouth promotion, and valuable feedback. We are excited to be now working directly with many of you to develop this new NUCPS chapter in areas throughout the U.S.
