ChemistryCHEM 132-0 : Fundamentals of Chemistry 2
Description
Solutions and colligative properties, chemical equilibrium, aqueous solution equilibria, chemical kinetics, metals in chemistry and biology, oxidation-reduction reactions and electrochemistry, special topics in modern chemistry.
Prerequisite: Chem 131-0 and Chem 141-0 (C- or better in both courses). Students may not start the sequence in this course.
This course must be taken concurrently with Chem 142 lab.
Please note: This is the third course in a three-course sequence of Fundamentals of Chemistry. Students must get Department permission to take this course without first taking CHEM 110 or CHEM 131. Permission may require submitting transcripts or taking a placement exam. Details will be given at time of registration, so please register early to allow time for this process. Late registration could result in not receiving approval for the course.

PLEASE NOTE: The registration period for ALL summer courses is April 8, 2024 through June 16, 2024, even if the course begins later in the summer.
